Workshop for stakeholders in municipal planning practice: Designing open-space PV in an environmentally friendly way

Workshop of the Competence Centre for Nature Conservation and Energy Transition (KNE) in Cottbus, 28.05.2024

The expansion of solar energy, including on open spaces, will continue to grow strongly in Germany over the next few years. Local authorities are challenged with a large number of applications and at the same time have the authority to decide on the design of solar parks. They are juggling citizen participation, nature conservation goals and climate commitment.

The best way to see how diversity and the expansion of renewable energies can work together is with your own eyes on site!
The KNE invites municipal stakeholders to a one-day workshop with an excursion:

"SuN-divers in practice: More courage for diversity in solar parks"

Tuesday, 28 May 2024, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Location: Start-up Centre Startblock B2, Siemens-Halske-Ring 2, 03046 Cottbus with a tour of the nature-friendly solar park in Laubsdorf (municipality of Neuhausen/Spree, district of Spree-Neisse).
